Project Brief

The Problem

  • As people age, rates of isolation and loneliness increase. This has a disastrous effect on the mental health of elderly individuals
  • How might we connect elderly individuals and help them stay engaged in their communities?

Project Goals

  • Help elderly individuals experiencing loneliness make new friends and find activities/events to engage in
  • Account for safety, ease of use, and mobility + sensory impairments in our product design
